The Chauvet DJ Xpress 512S is a powerful USB DMX interface that lets you control your lighting fixture with the ShowXpress lighting software. Compatible with both Windows? and Mac OS X systems with a live control app for use with a smartphone device*. The interface provides one physical DMX universe output (512 channels), and one additional ArtNet universe. Adding additional universes is as easy as connecting additional Xpress 512/1024 interfaces, the Show Xpress software can support up to six universes. The Xpress-512S is built into a compact aluminium housing and is completely BUS powered, no additional power supply required.
With the latest version of Show Xpress V9+ the 512S interface is hot-swappable and will automatically reconnect in seconds. Additionally, you can save one scene into the hardware for limited ��stand-alone�� functionality, perfect for background lighting at an event or gala.
